#2. Thing Riley Likes to Eat, continued:
Tuscan Chickpea Soup
We let her try a bite at dinner, and she kept going and going. Three whole baby servings. And then she tried to lick the bowl clean. (How can you tell when babies are full anyhow?)

Riley, by the way, has been an active participant in the packing process. Like pillaging piles, deconstructing stacks, and gnawing stuff to shreds.
I said active, not productive.
p.s. Happy 8-months today!
We visited a New York deli, where Riley got her first taste of hot mustard...
...and enjoyed it enough to fight mommy for the bottle.
Later, she dined on bottled water and cheerios...
...while the rest of us ate pizza. No fair! But at least there was tin foil and trash to play with.
And of course we visited Times Square and did other fun New York-y stuff.
Exhibit B
Although she's not quite crawling, she somehow manages to entangled herself in cords. If it's not time to baby proof, it is time to go wireless.
Coming soon: pictures of our weekend in New York!
