Home Sweet Home

We just returned from a whirlwind trip to Salt Lake City for my sister Julie's wedding. We had a great time, and we enjoyed spending time with both our families. I will include more details about our trip once (er...if) I get all caught up here at home.

But for now, suffice it to say, we're all glad to be done with this:

The 12-hour drive, each way. Bleh.

Moving On

In case you haven't noticed, this girl loves wearing jammies.

But, after a week of 80-degree weather, I think a new clothing obsession is brewing...

Fiber & Leafy Greens

The other day, I gave Riley an option: we could visit either the zoo or Whole Foods. She picked Whole Foods.

To make the outing kid-friendlier, we stopped by a nearby park, where she spent the entire time stirring a pot of (puddle) soup, carefully garnished with sticks and leaves.

Quite the health-food kick for a kid who'd gladly live off ice cream and batter.

Armed and Totally Harmless

After I made banana bread last night, I let Riley lick the beater. And of course recalling the last time I baked, she requested, "Take my picture!"
