When we DO get brief patches of sun, Riley takes advantage: She heads to the balcony with her new-found (from my closet) summer shoes.
Summer, please tell me you'll be here soon!
Maybe by then Riley will learn to actually walk in those summer shoes!

I agree! Enough winter already!!!
"There's always something". While you complain about your long drawn out cold winter I am dreading the start of a long, hot, sticky, sweaty air conditioning dependent, electricity bill sky-rocketing summer. I would trade it for your winter! Would you trade?
Sorry Andrea, I'll keep my long, cold, wet winter!
Just remember, while Portland has it's April, South Texas still has it's September (and October and half of Novermber . . .)
Hi Kathryn, It's Angie Lindsays friend from Logan and now here in Houston. We went to my brother in laws wedding this past weekend in Portland and just got back. Whew was it cold this past weekend there! We went to Seaside and Astoria and it snowed! On the Beach! Our trip was great and Portland was beautiful. I can't remember a time where I saw so much green... needless to say we were happy to get home and to the warmth. Good Luck!
AMEN! I just about lost it yesterday. I couldn't handle it anymore. I'm declaring a ban on running until the weather gets nicer. I hate winter.
It snowed here yesterday. Did you catch that? IT SNOWED!!! WHAHH??? It's the end of April, for heaven's sake.
